On many job boards there are 100s of applicants for every job.

But at Wordfruit, we use a matching system:

Clients request a shortlist of matched Writers.

And Clients also have the choice of having their job listing sent out to all possible matches.

So you can choose to maximize the number of job leads you will get, by opting to receive job leads posted in both those categories.

Or you can choose to get leads to jobs that are only sent to a shortlist of Writers.

Wordfruit matches jobs to your skills and your specifications

With job leads sent out to a shortlist of Writers:

• We match job descriptions to Copywriters’ skills/knowledge, experience, rates, and based on portfolio work. And members can give us any other specifications on what types of jobs to send to them.
• We send out job descriptions. We check the availability of Copywriters for specific jobs. We check you are interested in connecting with the Client for the job.
• Then we connect you with the Client.

With job leads sent out to more Writers:

We simply send you the job description along with the Client's contact details, and you get in touch with the Client direct if you are interested in the job.

We send these job leads out to you based on your portfolio work and other info, but we need to do the matching more quickly for these jobs, so you might receive some job leads that are not a 100% match for you.

And Clients can also browse Copywriters’ Profiles and request to connect with specific Copywriters.

Clients are industry professionals

We market to industry professional Clients in advertising, marketing, design, and PR, so we get jobs suited to top-standard Writers.

Sometimes people post jobs that don't pay at a fair rate -- we do not send these jobs out to Writers.

And we don’t use the common service-provider mass-bidding model – because that model drives down prices, drives away good service providers, and thus drives away industry-professional Clients.

At Wordfruit, quality jobs are posted by industry professionals.

We accept only Top Writers onto our books. Clients know we have this policy, and those that need top-quality jobs done, post them at Wordfruit.

We listen to what our Clients and our Copywriters tell us about the service they get, so we can respond in any appropriate way, to ensure we can give more connections for quality jobs, to top Writers.

Your type of job

Because we specialize in copywriting and words-related jobs only, we have the best Copywriters here, with experience in everything words-related. Some of the other recruitment sites for creatives do excellent work, but many tend to have their niches in the design and tech areas. Clients come to Wordfruit when they need a great Copywriter, because they know they will get the Copywriter they are looking for here. So you’ll find more quality jobs at Wordfruit, that fit your criteria: whether your criteria are about location, contract type, or job type.

Writers do not pay any fees for membership at Wordfruit

The monetization model at Wordfruit has been developed in consultation with Wordfruit Writers.

We send Writers jobs from industry professional clients -- marketing and advertising agencies, as well as direct clients.

Only talented Writers are approved for membership at Wordfruit. Once your application as a Writer is approved, the following items apply:

1. On some jobs that you contract with clients to do, there is No commission payable to Wordfruit. These are jobs that the Client has in advance paid a fee to Wordfruit on.

2. You can choose to only sign up for jobs for which Clients have paid the fees on. So you need never make any payment to Wordfruit.

3. Or you can choose to sign up for both commission-payable and commission-free jobs. You will receive more job leads this way, and you can change your preference at any time.

For commission-payable jobs, Writers pay a commission of 10% to Wordfruit ONLY AFTER you receive payment from the client, and there is a Maximum amount payable. The maximum amount is $297 on some jobs and $497 on other jobs. So after you have received $2970 or $4970 from a Client, you do Not pay any more commission to Wordfruit on work from that Client. In each job description that we send to you, the maximum commission figure relating to that job is stated.
